Q1: Can the handles be removed to be painted?
A: Yes, with a little work you can remove the inside front board which is held on by 4 screws and small pin nails. Once that is removed, the handle is held on by 2 screws which can be removed for painting. Please note the natural light oak color option has been stained, so there will be some additional sanding required.
Q2: What is the distance between the seat of the chair and the bottom of the lap drawer?
A: The distance from the seat and the desk is almost 6 inches.
Q3: Is there a weight/age limit for this desk?
A: The age limit would be around 4-7, maybe 8 depending on the size of each child. Weight limit is around 90 to 100 lbs, again depending on each child's build.
Q4: What is the height of the work area?
A: 26.5 inches
