This is a beautiful and functional piece of furniture. It is very good for small spaces. If you're "on the fence" about this one, buy it! The only con was that you can really use a buddy to put it together. However, once it's assembled you won't believe how good this looks!

This desk looks great and functions exactly as I hoped. It's my front door "catch-all". I keep my keys in a bowl on top, slip my mail into the desk, keep receipts in the drawer, and my purse and lunch bag in the bottom door. My entry is organized and looks neat and clean. Only problem was with assembly. Everything is well milled and fit together perfectly, but it took some head-scratching to figure out which part was which (especially the boards that were all about the same size). It would have helped to give measurements of the pieces or mark them with letters corresponding to the instructions. I ended up putting sticky notes on the pieces to mark them myself.

This little desk turned out much more attractive than it looks online. Very nice wood finish, not cheap looking at all! My husband put it together in less than an hour (however, he is very mechanically inclined!). We have it in our dining room area and have cleared the clutter off the dining room table! I like that you can close it up and hide everything, then pull the desk part down and sit and write out bills. The only negative is that the drawer sticks a bit when pulled out, but other than that--great value, very attractive!

This was fairly easy to put together. It's easiest if you have two people for the very beginning. Very sturdy and attractive.
