              I rarely write reviews but decided to take the time given the value of this product. I was comparing this desk to two others from Baers that were twice the price. This turned out to be a great choice. Solid, quality construction evident in the wood and drawers for example. Competitively priced. Nice black finish. I definitely recommend it if it's the right size for you.

                  Great desk. Bought because it looked like it would match the [@] furniture in my son's room, and it matches great. What I wasn't expecting is how nice this piece is and how sturdy it appears to be. It has some nice touches also, such as the pull down drawer. And the drawers are deeper than I expected. Shipping from hayneedle was fast too, within 3 days as promised.

                    I wrote this review for the white version, but thought both finishes deserved love: This product is amazing. It looks great; it's highly versatile and it is rock solid, especially at this price point. I've always been a fan of the Casey daybed. But I'm not very good at matching different pieces that I love in a room. So as much as I wanted the daybed on its own, I found that it left me wanting more. Until now I wasn't sure how to accomplish that. But thanks to Hayneedle, I have my answer. While I prefer things in sets, I can see people using this in bedrooms, writing nooks, or even kitchens. While I'm more of a computer desk person (drop down drawer is key), I can see a mirror going over this and having my wife use it as a vanity. But I do like it as a set. Great piece! Excellent quality! If you're on the fence, don't hesitate!
