This attractive, transitional-style desk is constructed of solid rubberwood, except for the tabletop and hutch back panel, which are made of MDF. MDF is a dense, super-sturdy engineered wood that offers greater strength and is more warp-resistant than regular wood. Solid wood veneers cover all surfaces, delivering authentic wood appearance and durability. A deep black finish adorns the bases of both the desk and hutch, while natural oak-finished tops add warmth.
