Built with clean, unfettered lines, lots of desk space, and ample storage, this desk has a simple design naturally conducive to productivity.

 

Built for daily use, this attractive desk is constructed with a solid rubberwood frame and MDF tabletop and side and back panels - all covered with solid wood veneers. MDF is a dense, warp-resistant engineered wood chosen for its lasting strength and stability. Cup-style hardware and straight lines make for easy access to open work room, complete with a pullout, drop-front keyboard drawer, two smaller supply drawers, and one large file drawer. The rich cherry finish lends warmth to the desk's subtly contemporary feel - all you need to add is a comfortable, supportive chair and, perhaps, a couple of cups of coffee.

I am very happy with my new desk from Hayneedle. It did take two deliveries to complete the set. Just minor problems. One being a damaged side panel and just a missing screw that was needed.I am happy to say the problem was corrected very efficiently. Also, there were a couple of pieces that were not marked with the letter that corresponded with the directions. However, it was easy to figure out once we started with the assembly. I will definitely check Hayneedle first when I am searching for something to purchase. And just to let you know, they are rated A+ with the better business bureau. I always check with them first if I am purchasing on line.

I bought this product because it was a top seller and priced right. Unfortunately the drawers do not line up, and the magnet on the keyboard drawer catch is not strong enough to hold the drawer shut. The desk top came with a small chip out of the top, so I'll need to buy a cherry colored marker to fix the ding. In retrospect I should have spent a little more money for a quality product.

Good, solid construction (not great), and fits well in a small office. Beware of one tricky assembly step: attaching the middle desk legs while making sure to slip notches onto the support rails (front & back) -- this would have been MUCH easier with two people, as the assembly directions suggest. However, even with two people, I felt like I was about to break the support rails before they finally slipped into place. The right-side drawer only stays up by magnets; these may require adjusting to optimize. Plan on using a tray if you plan to keep pens/pencils in that drawer. Finally, be prepared to guess at the hardware - especially the screws: the drawings I received were illegible. Handsome desk when fully assembled, and it matches our home office decor. We look forward to many years of use.

    The instructions are very hard to follow, because the diagrams and explanations are of little to no use at all. Several of the pieces were not labeled so it was very dificult to assemble. The quality of this desk is extremely poor. The workmanship is horrible. I would not recommend this desk to anyone.
