Mission Laptop/Writing Desk and Hutch - Dark Walnut

Picture doesnt do it justice, its a deep walnut finish not a distressed finished like in picture. Perfect for a laptop. Its elegant and classic a modern beauty, I just love it. Bought to replace sons desk now Im going to have to get 2 more one for me and one for my daughter. I thought the drawer glides (wood on wood) were going to give me problems but after talking to my mom, I found out that if you wax them they wont stick (Texas humidity). Just beautiful cant say enough about how well its made for the price.

I was a great price, easy to assemble since you only had to assemble hutch and legs, main desk was already assembled! just watch tapping in dowels for hutch part, on a sturdy surface not carpet (may go thru or crack surface wood) looks great and perfect for writing/bills or laptop. If for computer/laptop need to drill hole in back of hutch for wires. I love it and it goes great in my small spare room!

We use this desk in our bedroom, so my husband can have a quiet place to work at home, away from the kids. It is a simple flat desk, ideal for laptop. No keyboard drawer, which is what we wanted, but two narrow drawers for storage of papers, pens, etc. This piece is lovely, made of real wood (no particle board) and nice looking hardware. It matches our mission bedroom perfectly and the small, low hutch offers a nice place to store small items. The best part about assembly (took about an hour) was the desk top came pre-assembled, so no having to fight with putting together the drawers, etc. The shipping box was torn when it arrived but the pieces were well wrapped and protected. I think this piece is a great value for the money. Only thing that makes it 4 (not 5) stars is that the drawers are just laid in-- no rolling hardware. That would make it "perfect."
